BARK was formed in Cole Harbour when the boys were in grade 7. Boy soprano turned rocker Jeff Gay w/ Dave Chipman (b) and Kris Moulton (d), and later w/ Mike Scott (g). Mike was replaced by Matt Mays (g) before they recorded their Chicken Pot Pie EP in 1994. Years later, the original trio reformed with Curtis MacPhee (g, vocals), playing a few shows (and joined by Mays on one occasion!)
